In the game, there are two types of people who will fight with themselves: other players and game NPCs. Battles between players for profit are usually accompanied by the destruction of spacecraft, which will cause losses to the losing party. However, if you are defeated by an NPC, the loss will be much smaller.

Defeated by the player

If your spaceship is destroyed in a battle with the player, then when your spaceship is destroyed, a pod will pop up and there will be nothing in the pod except for the game character. In other words, when you are defeated, all useful things on the ship will be plundered by the enemy. Although you can save your spaceship, the enemy will not leave you anything precious.

Defeated by NPC

If your spaceship is destroyed in a battle with an NPC, your losses will be greatly reduced. Because NPC will not plunder you.

In both cases, only the spaceship was destroyed, but the characters in the game still survived the pod where the spaceship popped up. If a character in the game is killed, whether it is caused by other players or NPCs, it will bring huge losses to the player. Although the character in the game can be reborn at the clone point, all other items before the character's death will be permanently lost.
